Beloved wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Harley Rider and Skilled Horse Person; Preceded in death by mother, Julia Elizabeth Binkley; sister, Charlotte Lynn Kelley; Survived by husband Ronald E. Foster(CHS Class ’64); father, Lawrence Kelley; daughters, Christie Lynn Runnels & Kelli A. Knight; sons, Robert Brian Biggers & Robert Daren Foster; 9 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild;
Funeral Service 1 p.m. Thursday December 16, 2010 at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Kandros & Bro. Fred Johnson officiating. Pallbearers: Kenneth Barnes, Marshall Elizer, Troy Foster, Michael Craig, Don Felts, Coy Schreiner, Bob McNamara, Chris Runnels;

Every classmate attending the party will receive a DVD that contains most of the Cumberland HS annuals. If you received a DVD at the first Christmas Party, there have been more annuals added to the new DVD. The only way to get a new DVD is to attend the 2010 Christmas Party at Rawlings.

Cocke, Charles Wilson Age 69 of Hermitage, passed away Monday, September 13, 2010 after a 2 – 1/2 year battle with cancer. Born January 27, 1941 in White Bluff, TN to the late William Chester and Loretta Goodman Cocke, he is also preceded by his brother, Harold. Mr. Cocke was a basketball stand-out for William James High School class of 1959, and a graduate from Austin Peay State University in 1963. He taught school in the Metro Nashville system for 32 years. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Gail Loyd Cocke; 2 sons, Brack (Jessica) and Benjamin (Mary) Cocke; 4 grandchildren, Austin, Annaliese, Tanner and Cadence Cocke; 1 step-granddaughter, Carly Suhm; sister, Sharon Reed; 2 brothers, Willard and Dennis Cocke; 3 loving aunts, Helen Ross, Sue (Lee Jr.) Duke and Ruby Nelle Larkins. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Inurnment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Charles’ name to Alive Hospice, Inc., 1718 Patterson St., Nashville, TN 37203; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to the charity of your choice.
